This is Bauli wala Mandir (named after a well it had in its enclosure) on the road from the Chirriya Chog Gate to Jhelum River. Hindus of Bhera had numerous temples, most of which were dedicated to Shiva. Following the Sanatan-Dharma (eternal religion), the temples had idols of various Hindu gods and goddeses for worship. However, the Arya Samaj Mandir outside Darwaza did not have any idols; its weekly worship service used to be observed around a holy fire on a raised terrace. This folder on temples lacks pictures of the Jai-KrishaniaN da Mandir near Ghas Mandi/Jeetu da Maidan.

These are the ruins of Chirriya Chog Mandir (temple for feeding birds). It is located on the Circular Road, next to the city gate of the same name. The Hindu dead were brought here for funeral rites before they were carried to Jhelum River banks for cremation.
