Around this junction, there were the pre-1947 side-by-side PINSARI shops of Shankar Das (there was also a Shankar Das Garden opposite the present Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School) and of Ram Lal Bros. A little further west, was the shop of Hakim Haveli Ram. |
