Though the Mohallah SheikhaN wala is not a big mohallah compared to others like Mohallah Pirachgan or SahniaN da Mohallah, it is one of the oldest. Its SheikhaN wali Masjid is dated by some sources to go back to the times of Tughlaq and Khilji dynasties.

Malik Tilak Raj's Kothi outside of Mohallah SheikhaN. Old timers remember that Kundan Lal Sehgal (K.L. Sehgal), the legendary Indian singer, visited this kothi on the occasion of Malik Tilak Raj's daughter's marriage in early 1940s.
