It has beautiful houses and mansions, some of which now lie vacant as their highly educated owners have moved to other towns and abroad. The contributions of this mohallah's distinguished sons, like Sheikh Fazal Elahi Piracha and his brother Sheikh Fazal Ul Haq Piracha, to Bhera, Punjab, and Pakistan are a legend. Above all, Hindus from Bhera owe their safe escape from Bhera largely to righteous souls like Sheikh Fazal Ul Haq of this mohallah. |
