Chak wala Darwaza: Chinioti Gate

Picture 015.jpg

The gate is bedecked with banners offering Eid greetings to people of Bhera from officials and politicians. The greenish banner on top of the gate recites Kalma. Another banner in the lower right asks, "What does Pakistan mean?" The gate has become the main hub of the town; none of the other city gates attracted similar displays on the Eid day in October 2007.
