Bhera: Kal aur Aaj

BAK1.jpg

CORRECTION: The garden that had its main gate opposite to the Arya High School' s main building and also had a brick kothi and its persian-well located inside its confines was known as SHANKAR DAS DA BAGH (not Jolly- wala Bagh). Shankar Das de Hatti in the main bazaar was the town's foremost PINSARI shop before the partition era. Jolly- wala Bagh with its mango trees was located opposite to the Talaab across the road to the railway station. Gian Sarup
